Lets Fund It’s latest donation saw the team venturing south to the well-known town of Charleville. Here resides St Josephs Foundation, a charity that is devoted to providing people with disabilities the opportunity to live the life of their choice to their fullest potential. The charity provides a range of services and supports for people with disabilities in the North Cork and South Limerick areas. St Joseph’s works with all age groups, from children right up to adults. Similarly to Lets Fund It, the charity places significant value on being open, accountable and transparent in all its dealings. As a result, the LFI team reached out directly to see how best its service could benefit St Joseph’s service-users.
The LFI team was in direct contact with Susan Nolan of St. Joseph’s Foundation. After discussing how Let’s Fund It operates, Susan was able to helpfully identify a number of products that LFI could purchase on behalf of the charity for the service-users. This list included:
- Kinetic Sand sets
- Sensory Lighting sets
- Slam Balls
- DVD Player
The total donation came to €419.61. The LFI team delivered the items to St Joseph’s foundation on April 6th, 2022. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this donation possible!
